About Us
Every year, the tax changes with new legislation passed. My experience working within HMRC gives a good insight into the problems people face with their tax issues and I understand that with the system being so complex to a lot of companies, that this can be stressful.
A1 Accounting Solution would like to offer a personal service in which it takes the stress out of dealing with any tax issues, from returns to compliance cheques, fines and penalties.
Sometimes we can’t get out to see accountants due to the hours they keep and our work commitments – I offer a personal service in which I will come out to your home, even at peak times, and I am on hand evenings and weekends.
Meet the owner
AAT to Level 4, BA HONS degree in Business and Finance, and I have completed an ATT, which is a professional tax advisor qualification. I also have further qualifications in business studies, business administration, customer service and IT.
My working career started in local government, then moved to central government where I was involved in lots of different strategies for working with Government. I have worked on various benefits and premium bonds, then moved onto tax credits, and finally worked for 5 years as a tax advisor with HMRC . This is what gave me the passion for Tax and the clear understating for the complexity of tax, so from HMRC I left to pursue the degree. Due to starting a family, I decided to quit my current job and pursue the career I wanted, and now here I am.
I am conversant with most other accounting packages, including Sage accounting, but use QuickBooks as my main business accounting software. We recommend this to our clients as it very easy to use and does everything from payroll RTI submissions to VAT submissions.
